Evernote, Let Me Count the Ways
Evernote, Let me Count the Ways
Evernote is a great way to share work, create portfolios, check for completed work, and give parents easy access to their child’s assignments
There is some set up time required by the teacher and students in the beginning of the year. I suggest have kids set up several notebooks such as Language Arts, Science, Math, etc. Once they share each notebook with you, added notes share automatically. Of course there are other programs that accomplish this, but I like the look and options of Evernote.
Here are some nice features:
- Making sure that each assignment is given a specific name, it is possible to search for an assignment to see which students have turned it in.
2. The teacher can make a stack of notebooks, for instance ELA notebooks, to organize viewing student work by category.
Here are some ideas:
- Writing Portfolios
- Scientific Experiment Photo Journal
My students often use other programs and then we copy and paste our final product into Evernote.
This is a great product!
