Code.org has organized an Hour of Code site to give teachers and students easy access to over 200 one hour coding tutorials in 45 languages. There is a wide range of choices to engage all students.
During the Hour of Code students K-12 are given time to try the basic concepts of coding by exploring game like tutorials. Its a great introduction to learn about how technology works and demystify programming. Students of all ages are makers, creators, and Hour of Code gives them much needed time for exploration and play with technology. Here is a walkthrough to help you get started coding with your class. Have fun and let students build and explore the digital world!
